Winner of the Brother's Cup, Worcestershire Provincial Lecture Competition 2023

Damon Lord has won the Brother's Cup in this year's Provincial Lecture Competition, organised by the Worcestershire Freemasons Provincial Learning and Development Officer, as announced here. Damon's lecture for 2023 was entitled The Illuminati - Bane of Freemasonry, and presented an overview of the historical short-lived Bavarian organisation, before firmly clarifying how they had nothing to do with Freemasonry and decrying conspiracy theories as nonsense. His lecture took a risk by presenting it in poetic form, and it paid off, because the judges commented:

The talk was delivered in rhyme and involved the audience with the "chorus". A refreshing way to deliver the information to the audience.

Damon will be attending the Worcestershire Installed Master's Lodge meeting on the 13th of May 2023 to receive his trophy.
